Design philosophy
Architecture, created by application of engineering logic and construction technology, produces abundant living space that could attract human sensibility, must also be able to give cognitive effect and delightful feeling to people through the space. Our concentration is to put continuous effort into architecture searching for new architectural aspect and simultaneously trying to realize this sort of space and environment.
Our work is to intensively search for new thought, new environment and new world by focusing on architecture. We consider proposition of possible newness from the specific situation in the presence. Definitely, this is not incomprehensible progressive newness for society, but the familiar newness having potential to improve our society directly.
Society’s way of thinking and concept of architecture always change. In 2011, occurrence of the Great East Japan earthquake has left us with unprecedented severe damage. Since then, we must consider to create the environment that could provide reliability and sense of safety to people. According to this, we are considering the new idea for our environment that could become a symbol of rehabilitation by reinterpreting situation of our society. Additionally, we also intend to pursue possible newness that is both acceptable and familiar to all the people.
Our aim of searching for newness is, not being satisfied with the existing state of things, but originated from our strong attitude to change the abundant architectural space and its environment into better direction by using power of architecture itself. We keep standing for this attitude steadily and continuously try to more or less communicate new way of thinking to the society.
